why do trout anglers kill perch in marshallstown dam etc ???

im fishing now for nearly 30 years an got a craker perch of 1lb weight at marshallstown dam yet when i put it back i got greif from other trout anglers why ??? do they not know its someone elses sport an as for them killing the trout what a load of bull how do they think the bigger trout got to there size ?? by eating the perch fry an small perch. its the only coarse fish carrick has so why not just put thenm mback they arent doing any one any harm !!!!

Unfortunatly DCAL has no actual responsibility to stop anglers killing perch this is a thing each individual angler takes upo themselves. Trout are dcal/fcb's main focus and catch limits, nothing really applies to perch, which is of course sad and unfortunate.
