why do trout anglers kill perch in marshallstown dam etc ???

im fishing now for nearly 30 years an got a craker perch of 1lb weight at marshallstown dam yet when i put it back i got greif from other trout anglers why ??? do they not know its someone elses sport an as for them killing the trout what a load of bull how do they think the bigger trout got to there size ?? by eating the perch fry an small perch. its the only coarse fish carrick has so why not just put thenm mback they arent doing any one any harm !!!!

totally agree, however unfortunatly there are anglers out there who will argue the poit the have the right to kill the fish they catch , to some its not a sport, to some its them or us type thing, like a blood challenge.

Unfortunatly we will never be able to change certain peoples opinions, more the pity

for me personaly any fish i catch is returned

unless its got a good natural tail on it then

i would keep it to eat as alot of the stockie fish only taste

like cardboard as the last angler said theres no harm in throwing back the perch

i caught over 20 one night in marshalstown and returned everyone

so all you so called trout fishermen stick that in ur pipe
